Completing our online scuba course does not necessarily qualify a person to continue with in water dive training.

 

Aspiring divers must meet physical and mental fitness requirements to be eligible to dive. SSI and  SCUBAdventures requires that students complete a diving medical questionnaire before entering the water.

 

Drawback to the online course:

 

Online course covers the same material found in the training DVD and Manual which each student receives in our certification course. ( and keeps for future reference)

 

Students must be self organized. Students must master concepts they may find difficult without help of an instructor.

 

Online course does not introduce students to the local diving community, You may miss out on the camaraderie of taking a course with interesting and fun people.

 

You can learn more with an instructor since he will share his knowledge and experiences with you.

 

To ensure you understand dive theory, and instructor will quiz you and review necessary information before you enter the water.

 

There are no short cuts to quality training. The better the training the better the diver. Many people do  not continue in this exciting sport because of inadequate training and did not feel comfortable.
