Open Water SCUBA Training Level 1

Join the thousands we have taught to safely enjoy SCUBA diving!

COURSE EQUIPMENT AND COUNSELING. This first step toward entering this new adventure is learning the basic functions of your total diving equipment systems. SCUBAdventures offers the most modern, up to date SCUBA instruction and equipment. Your professional instructor/equipment counselor will help you choose the right equipment for you. Your instructor will familiarize you with the course structure and requirements and will make sure you enjoy all learning phases to become a competent safe scuba diver.

CLASSROOM AND HOME STUDY. Approximately 6 hours of classroom time will be spent with your instructor and about 5 hours of home study with dive training kit using the DVD. Classroom training includes lectures and review of the home study training manual and DVD which will prepare you for sub aquatic experience! There is much to learn and time will pass very quickly. Soon you will be living the adventure you now can only dream about! Complete home study kit is included in your course fee.

POOL TRAINING. Your pool training with SCUBA allows you to adapt technically and psychologically to the under water world. Approximately 8 hours of pool training will get you adapted to the equipment and necessary skills required to become a safe diver.

OPEN WATER TRAINING. All phases of your training, dive planning and preparation will fall into place as you experience your final open water dives in KEY LARGO’S MARINE SANCTUARY! Each dive will allow you to get more comfortable with the marine environment and your diving equipment. FOUR OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE YOUR SCUBA CERTIFICATION and most dives are schedule over a weekend.

Our Package includes:

• Complete classroom and pool training with 4 open water training dives
on the reefs off Key Largo.
• Student training kit including DVD, manual/workbook, deluxe log book
with dive tables and all certification fees.
• Use of computerized diving system for both pool and open water dives.
• Charter boat fees for the 4 open water training dives in Key Largo.
Each student must supply personal equipment-mask, snorkel fins with boots and a wet suit.
