Kevin Sweeney

Kevin Sweeney is the owner and founder of SCUBAdventures. Certified as a diving instructor in 1972, he began working at various Naples dive stores since 1974, then opened SCUBAdventures in the fall of 1993. Kevin is a Master Instructor and has taught 1000’s to dive in all levels. He specializes in digital underwater photography and creating exciting dive trips.

Geoff Fahringer

Geoff Fahringer was first certified to SCUBA dive in the 70’s. Since then he has logged thousands of dives from the Western Pacific to the Atlantic, Caribbean and fresh inland waters. Geoff currently teaches classes as a SSI Advanced Dive and Stress Rescue Instructor and as a Public Safety Dive Association and Water Rescue Inc. Master Instructor. Geoff is also a First Aid, CPR, AED and O2 provider instructor. Geoff is a member of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Dive team. 

Chris Beckman

Chris Beckman is Graduate of Halls International Diving Career Institute in Marathon Florida. Chris is an Advanced Open water Instructor from various agencies and is qualified to teach many specialties. Chris works on regulators, dive gear and sells SCUBA gear in the shop. Dan Beauchemin

Dan Beauchemin is an advanced dive instructor certified with SDI and SSI. He teaches open water and advanced open water classes. He holds several specialty instructor certifications including Nitrox, Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Night, Limited Visibility & Stress & Rescue. Dan is the owner and Captain of a dive boat and likes to dive and spearfish in the gulf regularly. Dan has dove all around the Caribbean and looks forward to having you as a student!

Bill D'Antuono

Bill is a Dive Control Specialist & works in the shop. He is an avid spearfisher and writes for the Coastal Angler Magazine. Bill runs the Naples Spearfishing League and hosts local tournaments. His efforts lifted the Collier spearfishing ban that was law since the 1950's. Bill is an advocate for lionfish removal and clean water in SWFL. 

Doug Gustason

Doug Gustason is an Advanced Open Water Instructor and has been diving since 1992. Doug specializes in the retail operation of the store, is certified in advanced gas blending techniques, and enjoys underwater digital photography. Doug enjoys travel and has experience with both land based and live-aboard operations.

Dan Stathas

Dan Stathas is a Master Instructor and has been diving since 1990. He is from Atlanta and joined SCUBAdventures in 2004 and now teaches Open Water and Advanced Open classes. Dan enjoys Caribbean dive travel and digital underwater photography.

Jim Graham

Jim is an advanced instructor with SDI and PADI who has been teaching since 2002.  Originally from Canada, Jim fell in love with diving in the cold fresh water of the Great Lakes.  He holds several specialty instructor ratings including Nitrox, Underwater Photography, CPR, First Aid, AED and O2.  He is in an avid underwater photographer and has been diving and shooting all over the world.  After living and working the last number of years in Chicago and “growing up” diving in colder fresh water, he and his wife decided it was time to live, work and play here in Naples.
