If you have always wanted to learn to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the beautiful and colorful world beneath the waves, this is where its starts. SCUBAdventures offers the prestigious SSI Open Water SCUBA course in 5 formats to meet your schedule

 

1.) 3 week program weeknight course - Meet your instructor 2 nights a week for 3 weeks for the class room and pool sessions followed by a week end for your open water dives.

2.) 5 week program weeknight course - Meet your instructor once a week for five weeks followed by a weekend for your open water dives.

3.) Private Lessons - For the one - on - one attention or a very small group, you and your instructor customize a schedule for you and your instructor.

4.) Online learning - Sign up for free to complete the academic portion on line. Work at your own pace and call us when you are ready to schedule your
review, pool sessions and open water dives.

5.) We come to you - We will be happy to bring our Scuba program to you. This is perfect for friends, country clubs, yacht clubs, housing communities, social groups and corporate organizations in the Naples, Marco Island and Bonita Springs area.

The course fees includes class materials, certification card, use of a computerized scuba system and your certification dives.

Each student must supply mask, snorkel, fins with boots and wet suit. The comfort and fit of these items is critical, so be sure to consult your instructor before purchasing any gear.

 

 

Open Water SCUBA Training Level 1

 

COURSE EQUIPMENT AND COUNSELING. This first step toward entering this new adventure is learning the basic functions of your total diving equipment systems. SCUBAdventures offers the most modern, up to date SCUBA instruction and equipment. Your professional instructor/equipment counselor will help you choose the right equipment for you. Your instructor will familiarize you with the course structure and requirements and  will make sure you enjoy all learning phases to become a competent safe scuba diver.

CLASSROOM AND HOME STUDY. Approximately 6 hours of classroom time will be spent with your instructor and about 5 hours of home study with dive training kit using the DVD. Classroom training includes lectures and review of the home study training manual and DVD which will prepare you for sub aquatic experience! There is much to learn and time will pass very quickly. Soon you will be living the adventure you now can only dream about! Complete home study kit is included in your course fee.

POOL TRAINING. Your pool training with SCUBA allows you to adapt technically and psychologically to the underwater world. Approximately 8 hours of pool training will get you adapted to the equipment and necessary skills required to become a safe diver.

OPEN WATER TRAINING. All phases of your training, dive planning and preparation will fall into place as you experience your final open water dives in KEY LARGO’S MARINE SANCTUARY! Each dive will allow you to get more comfortable with the marine environment and your diving equipment. FOUR OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE YOUR SCUBA CERTIFICATION and most dives are schedule over a weekend.
